A photo exhibition “Maldives: Not Just Beaches” Ambassador Dnyaneshwar M Mulay will be on display at Art Gallery, Chanakyapuri in New Delhi until August 8, 2022.
The photos are from when Mulay was serving as India’s High Commissioner in the Maldives. Seeing is believing and while visiting different places remains the best way to immerse yourself in the beauty or culture of this region, photographs are the next best thing.
The same was offered by the photo exhibition “Maldives: Not Just Beaches” organized by Ambassador Dnyaneshwar M Mulay, IFS (retd.), who served as India’s High Commissioner for the Maldives. The photography exhibition opened on July 25 at Art Gallery, CSOI, Vinay Marg, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi and will run until August 8, 2022. The exhibition is mainly organized to present artworks and creative photography by Mulay.
Photograph of Dnyaneshwar M. Mulay, IFS (retd.) who served as India’s High Commissioner in the Maldives between 2009-2013 and was a diplomat in India’s elite Foreign Service from 1983-2019. Mulay currently serves as a member of the NHRC. He had extensively explored the various aspects of many countries. He also has vivid photographs taken while serving as India’s High Commissioner in the Maldives and has exhibited for beauty, nature and culture lovers.
A paradise on earth, the Maldives have other charms that go beyond sun, sand and beaches. My four-year stay in the Maldives has given my ‘mobile camera’ enough food for thought,” says Mulay.
It is hoped that during this monsoon season, people from Delhi, diplomats from different countries and who’s who of Delhi and bureaucrats will enjoy the photo exhibition.
