BRIAN WALTER ANDERSON, 39, died unexpectedly in his apartment on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Brian was born on December 4, 1981 in Lansing, Michigan. When he was three years old, he moved to Huntington with his family. He leaves behind his parents, Howard and Linda Anderson, and older brother Matt and wife Kiliaen, who live in Huntsville, Ala. Brian attended Miller Elementary, Cammack Middle School, Oakland School in Keswick, Virginia, and graduated from Maplebrook High School in Amenia, NY. He worked at Green Acres’ LeSage Natural Water. He had epilepsy, but he didn’t have epilepsy. He enjoyed whitewater rafting photography, hunting for shark teeth on Amelia Island, Florida, boating in northern Michigan, and playing tennis and pickle ball. He was preceded by his grandparents Jack, Maud and Jean Anderson as well as Aileen and Walter Swartek. In addition to his immediate family, he was loved and supported by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a special caregiver and friend of Autism Services, Travis Ferguson. We will miss his lovely smile and unique sense of humor. The funeral service will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. First Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dr. Parrish L. Bridges. The visit is at noon until the service in the church. Instead of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation West Virginia at Bell carpenter morgue is responsible for the arrangements.
